Somerset Engagement Shoot // Kate & Matthew
This was such a great photoshoot down in Somerset with Kate & Matt. Their wedding will take place on Kate’s parents’ farm in September and they decided that they wanted their engagement shoot there too, albeit in some more remote spots that we won’t get to on the big day. After a quick tour of the farm and listening to their plans, I can tell their wedding is going to be magical. We took a quick drive up to the highest point on the farm for some spectacular views of the Somerset countryside, which made my job a lot easier given the stunning location. Afterwards, we headed back to the farmhouse for a few final shots and a cup of tea (and some cake – thanks to Kate’s mum). Vinnie the dog also got in on the act. I love doing engagement shoots and Kate & Matt were a joy to photograph – relaxed, chatty and full of laughs. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in September, but until then, here are a few pictures from their engagement shoot.
Thanks, guys, for making this such a fun shoot and also for the warm welcome and hospitality from your folks.
