Coombe Lodge Wedding // Sasha and Mark

Coombe Lodge in Autumn
I’m delighted to bring you this gorgeous, autumnal Coombe Lodge Wedding. I’ve probably said it before, but I love autumn weddings. The days are a bit cooler and shorter, but you can still hang around outside and catch the last of the sun. The light is usually amazing just in time for the Drinks Reception. And, best of all, the leaves have started to turn and it provides an amazing backdrop for couple’s portraits. A wedding at Coombe Lodge makes the most of all of this. Set in idyllic Somerset countryside, the building and grounds are truly magical.
A Vintage Wedding Dress
Gorgeous bride, Sasha, looked amazing in her full, lace wedding dress. Her family come from Russia and the beautiful lace has been passed down and worn by several generations of her family on their wedding days. Sasha and Mark had also arranged lots of other lovely traditional Russian touches to the decorations to make their day really personal.
Fabulous Midnight Fireworks
I don’t often get to photograph fireworks and it’s not really something you can easily practise. So when Mark and Sasha told me they had a midnight display planned, I was both excited and little nervous. Plenty of research ensured I had everything dialled in and when the grand finale approached I knew I had these shots in the bag. This allowed me to focus more on Sasha and Mark enjoying the fabulous display. Anyway, enough chat from me. Time for some lovely photos from this fabulous Coombe Lodge Wedding.
