Westbury on Trym Wedding
Bridget and David’s Westbury on Trym Wedding
On a beautiful day in the middle of summer, I joined Bridget and David for their Westbury on Trym Wedding. The couple were married at St Bonaventure’s church in Bishopston, in a ceremony full of great moments. Afterwards, while the rest of the guests headed over to Westbury for the reception, the couple and I made a quick detour to the Clifton Downs. For this adventure-loving couple, the secluded gully overlooking the Avon Gorge was a great place to take the Bride and Groom portraits. It was also a chance for the couple to spend some quiet time together before devoting themselves to their family and friends.
Westbury Village Hall
Westbury on Trym has the sweetest village hall and gardens and is the perfect venue for a simple and relaxed wedding reception. The main garden is a little sun trap and is set up with traditional games like quoits and croquet to keep everyone entertained. There is also a beautiful community garden with a wildflower meadow for additional photo opportunities.
Bridget and David are a great couple and I absolutely loved photographing their wedding. Some of my favourite moments from the day are shown below.
